The last major Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament of this year BLAST Pro Series: Lisbon 2018 has competed with Astralis defeating Natus Vincere 2-1 in the grand finals, securing $125,000 in prize money.
The tournament took place on December 14-15 at Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal. The tournament featured six invited teams that competed for a $250,000 prize pool. All participating teams competed in a single group with a round-robin format, with all matches being best-of-one. Top two teams made it to the grand finals, with the final series being best-of-three. The team placed third in the group could choose their opponent for a showmatch from the remaining teams.
Astralis placed first in the group, finishing the stage without a single loss. They defeated Cloud9 at Inferno (16:14), FaZe Clan at Dust II (16:4), MIBR at Inferno (16:6), Natus Vincere at Inferno (16-9), and Ninjas in Pyjamas at Overpass (16:11). Natus Vincere placed second with two losses and three victories: they lost to Astralis at Inferno (9:16) and to MIBR at Mirage (2:16), but managed to defeat Cloud9 at Overpass (16:10), FaZe Clan at Inferno (16:13) and Ninjas in Pyjamas at Overpass (16:12). In the grand finals Natus Vincere emerged victorious at Overpass (16:7), but Astralis managed to win both Cache and Dust II (16:9 and 16:4 respectively). As for the showmatch, Cloud9 chose to play versus FaZe Clan and lost with the 28:30 score.
