The tournament operator ESL has announced that they will host another Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament in the German city of Cologne. The next ESL One Cologne event will be held on July 2nd – 7th, with the final two days being played at Lanxess Arena. The event will feature 16 teams that will compete for a $300,000 prize pool.
This will be the sixth Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event held in Cologne by ESL. The previous event took place on July 3rd – 8th. In the grand finals Natus Vincere defeated BIG with the 3-1 score, claiming $125,000 in prize money and receiving their first point towards Intel Grand Slam.
