The group stage of ESL One: Cologne 2019 is nearing its end, and another four teams have been eliminated from the event, including Fnatic with BIG from Group B and FaZe Clan with FURIA Esports from Group A. These four teams placed 9-12th at the event.
Today we will be able to witness final four series, which will determine six participants of the playoffs stage. In Group A Team Liquid will face NRG Esports in the upper bracket, while mousesports will play with Natus Vincere in the lower bracket, both series start at 1:45 PM BST. In Group B Astralis will play against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the winners’ bracket, while Heroic will compete with Team Vitality in the losers’ bracket, both series start at 8:00 PM BST. The winners of the upper bracket series will secure their place in the semifinals, while the losers of upper bracket finals and the winners of lower bracket finals will advance to the quarterfinals.
The playoffs stage is schedule for July 5-7th and will follow a single-elimination format with best-of-three regular matches and best-of-five grand finals.
