Next month London will host GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2020, a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event that will feature some of the best European teams competing for a hefty prize pool of $250,000.
The tournament is organized by Maincast and sponsored by GG.Bet. The competition is scheduled for February 1st-6th. Among tournament’s participants are Natus Vincere, ENCE, Heroic, Virtus.pro, GODSENT, mousesports, OG and MAD Lions. All regular series, both of group stage and playoffs, will be best-of-three, while the grand finals will be best-of-five. The winner will get $125,000 in prize money.
The tournament will be the second in its series and a big step forward compared to the previous event, GG.Bet Ice Challenge 2019 – the number of participants was increased from 4 to 8, while the prize pool rose from $50,000 to $250,000.
