The Russian team ForZe, the winner of GG.Bet Chicago Invitational, will not be able to participate in the upcoming CS:GO event IEM Chicago 2019 due to visa issues. They will be replaced by the Danish team Heroic.
Heroic will participate in the event as the runner-up of GG.Bet Chicago Invitational - in the grand final of the European qualifier for IEM Chicago 2019 they lost to forZe with the 1-2 score.
Intel Extreme Masters XIV – Chicago will take place on July 18th-21st at United Center in Chicago, United States. Eight teams, among which are Team Liquid, MIBR, Renegades, Team Envy, ENCE, G2 Esports, Team Vitality and Heroic, will compete for their share of a $250,000 prize pool. The event is part of the third season of Intel Grand Slam.
