MAJ3R Becomes the First Member of Team LDLC New CS:GO Roster

The French organization Team LDLC has announced that Engin "MAJ3R" Kupeli is the first member of their new CS:GO roster. The rest of the players will be revealed in the coming days.

MAJ3R is a 28-years-old Franco-Turkish player, who has been playing Counter-Strike professionally since 2006. He is mostly known for his performance with Space Soldiers during 2016 and 2018, when he emerged victorious at several LAN-events, including GeForce Cup 2017, ESEA Season 25: Global Challenge and DreamHack Open Austin 2018. With them he also attended two major tournaments – ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018 and FACEIT Major: London 2018, where the team placed 9-11th and 23rd-24th respectively.

Last December Team LDLC parted ways with Alex "ALEX" McMeekin, who left the team to join Team Vitality. Later in January François "AMANEK" Delaunay also departed from the team and eventually joined G2 Esports. Last month the team lost another player, as Logan "LOGAN" Corti was transferred to 3DMAX, leaving the team with only two players – David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljević and Antoine "to1nou" Pirard. The team tried to play with different stand-ins, but on April 2nd Team LDLC disbanded the roster.
