The German esports organization mousesports has announced that Chris "chrisJ" de Jong, Martin "STYKO" Styk and Sergey "Lmbt" Bezhanov are no longer part of its CS:GO starting line-up. Thus, currently their main roster includes only three players – Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný, Robin "ropz" Kool and Miikka "suNny" Kemppi.
This change comes after the team’s recent disappointing results – while overall 2018 was quite successful for mousesports as they attended multiple premier LAN-events and managed to emerge victorious at StarLadder Season 4, V4 Future Sports Festival and ESL One New York 2018, the results in the last quarter of 2018 were not so impressive. The decline culminated with the disappointing 5-6th place at Katowice Minor, meaning that the team will miss the upcoming major.
STYKO has been part of mousesports since late 2017, although last August he was transferred to Cloud9 for few months on loan. ChrisJ, who used to be the team’s in-game leader and AWPer, had been playing for mouz since 2013. Lmbt had been coaching the team since late 2016.
