A Counter-Strike: Global Offensive event BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen 2018 with a $250,000 prize pool has concluded this weekend. In the grand finals Natus Vincere defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas with the 2:0 score, receiving $125,000 in prize money.
The event was held on November 2nd – 3rd at Royal Arena in the capital of Denmark. The list of participants consisted of six invited teams, among them were Astralis, Cloud9, FaZe Clan, MIBR, Natus Vincere and Ninjas in Pyjamas. They competed in a single group with round-robin format and best-of-one matches to determine two participants of the grand finals, which was played as a best-of-three series.
Natus Vincere placed first in the group with the 4-0-1 score, defeating Astralis on Overpass (16:9), Cloud9 on Mirage (16:13), MIBR on Overpass (16:14), Ninjas in Pyjamas on Inferno (16:10), as well as losing to FaZe Clan on Overpass (8:16). The second place was secured by Ninjas in Pyjamas with the 3-1-1 score, who outplayed Astralis on Overpass (16:14), Cloud9 on Mirage (16:9) and MIBR on Train (16:4), as well as drew the score with FaZe Clan at Mirage (15:15) and lost to Na`Vi on Inferno (10:16). In the grand finals Natus Vincere defeated NiP on both Mirage (16:10) and Inferno (16:12). In addition to that, Astralis played versus Cloud9 in the Pro Standoff show match. The players of the North American squad defeated their Danish opponents with the 3-2 score, securing additional $20,000 in prize money.
