RpK Announces his Retirement

After a six-month inactive period, 32-years-old French player Cédric "RpK" Guipouy has announced that he will no longer compete on professional level. To commemorate his long career, he launched his own merch line. The former player will reveal his plans for the future in the days to come.

RpK has been competing for almost 15 years, starting back in 2006 during the CS: Source days. He is mostly known as a member of Team Envy (2017 – 2018) and Team Vitality (2018 – 2021). Since April he has been inactive.

During his career, he attended eight official major tournaments and won multiple premier events, among which are EPICENTER 2019, ECS 1 Finals, BLAST Premier: Fall 2020, ECS 7 Finals and cs_summit 4. His total earnings from prize money is about $575,000.
