The South American qualifier for Kuala Lumpur Major has concluded with two rosters of Brazilian esports organization paiN Gaming qualifying for the event.
From September 16th to September 18th eight South American teams have been competing for two slots at the upcoming major event. First, they were seeded into two GSL groups with best-of-three series, and then top two teams advanced to the upper bracket, while the others made it to the lower bracket. All playoffs series were best-of-three as well.

According to the new Valve rules, two teams owned by the same organization cannot participate in The International 2019, but they are still able to attend any other major or minor event.
