DOTA Summit 11: PaiN Gaming and Ad Finem Eliminated

DOTA Summit 11, the first event of Dota Pro Circuit 2019/20, has already started. Two teams – paiN Gaming and Ad Finem – are already eliminated after the group’s stage first day, securing $12,000 and 40 DPC points.

The group stage features eight teams competing in two GSL groups with best-of-three series. During the first day, the teams played in opening and elimination matches. In Group A’s opening matches jfshfh178 outplayed Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0), while Invictus Gaming defeated paiN Gaming (2-0). In the first series of Group B Chaos E.C. managed to beat HellRaisers (2-0), while Ad Finem lost to Geek Fam (0-2). In the elimination matches NiP defeated paiN, while HellRaisers outplayed Ad Finem (2-1). Currently the group standings look as follows:

The teams with the 1-0 score will compete in the winners’ matches, while the teams that have one loss and one victory will play in the decider series. Top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.

DOTA Summit 11 takes place in Los Angeles on November 7-10th. The minor event features a $300,000 prize pool and 660 DPC points up for grabs.
