Yesterday, on June 23rd, the newly released Valve game Dota Underlords has surpassed 200,000 concurrent players, which makes it the fourth most popular game in Steam after Dota 2 (772k), PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (710k) and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (588k).
Dota Underlords was released in Open Beta on June 21st. It is currently available for free through Steam (Windows, Mac, Linux) and on iOS and Android devices. The game is based on the community created Dota 2 map Dota Auto Chess. For comparison, the other Valve’s card game Artifact peaked at 46,5k concurrent players in its first month, however currently, after six months, its online peaks at 230 players.
