The CIS closed qualifier for StarLadder ImbaTV Dota2 Minor has completed with Gambit Esports and Old But Gold securing their sports at the Ukrainian minor.
The qualifier took place on February 9th – 10th and featured two stages. In the first stage two teams from open qualifiers (Team Empire and Aachen City Esports) and two invited teams (The Pango and Pavaga Gaming) competed in a double-elimination bracket. Then top two teams – Empire and Aacen – made it to the second stage, where they faced Gambit Esports and Old But Gold in a double-elimination bracket. All matches were best-of-three.
The main event of StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor will take place from March 7th – 10th at Cybersport Arena in Kyiv, Ukraine. The tournament’s line-up will consist of eight teams that will compete for a $300,000 prize pool and 500 Dota Pro Circuit Points.
