The Chinese qualifier for ESL One Mumbai 2019 has concluded with Keen Gaming defeating Royal Never Give Up with the 3-0 score. This April the team will travel to Mumbai, India, where they will compete for a $300,000 prize pool.
The Chinese qualifiers took place on February 27th-28th. Four teams competed in a double-elimination bracket with regular matches being best-of-three and the grand finals being best-of-five with 1-map advantage. Keen Gaming advanced to the finals through the upper bracket, where they defeated Mr Game Boy (2-1) in the first round and Royal Never Give Up in the winners finals. In the grand finals both maps ended in less than 20 minutes.
ESL One Mumbai 2019 is scheduled for April 19th-21th. Among confirmed participants are Ninjas in Pyjamas, Alliance, Gambit Esports, and compLexity Gaming, who received direct invites. The closed qualifiers in other regions will conclude on May 1st.
