ONE Esports Singapore Major Officially Cancelled

ONE Esports and PGL have announced the cancellation of the final major tournament of Dota Pro Circuit 2019/20 due to the restrictions on major gatherings associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

ONE Esports Singapore Major 2020 was scheduled to be played at Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 20 – 28th. The event was supposed to feature sixteen teams competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 DPC points. According to the local regulations, the gatherings of more than 250 people have to be suspended until June 30th.

Earlier Valve announced that the next The International was indefinitely postponed. The company mentioned that the event would most probably be held in 2021. Prior to that, the rest of DPC events – ESL One Los Angeles 2020 and OGA Dota PIT Minor 2020 – were also cancelled.
