The American division of OGA Dota PIT Season 2 concludes today, on July 21st, with a best-of-five series between Thunder Predator and Quincy Crew. The tournament’s winner will receive $10,422 in prize money, while the runner-up will get $5,415.
Thunder Predator advanced to the finals through the upper bracket – there they defeated Midas Club (2-0), beastcoast (2-1) and business associates (2-1). Meanwhile, Quincy Crew lost to beastcoast (0-2) in the very first round of the upper bracket, consequently outplaying Midas Club (2-0), 4 Zoomers (2-0), CR4ZY (2-1) and business associates (2-0) in the lower bracket.
Based on the GG.Bet odds, Quincy Crew are the clear favourites of the evening – not only they emerged victorious at ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online and BTS Pro Series Season 2 last month, but they also have a 100% win rate against Thunder Predator this year.
Earlier OGA Dota PIT Season 2 concluded in China, where CDEC Gaming placed first after defeating Vici Gaming (3-2). Next week the event will begin in Europe, where eight teams will compete for a $170,000 prize pool.
