Sayuw Departs Team Empire

Team Empire have announced that Oleg "sayuw" Kalenbet is no longer part of their Dota 2 roster. It remains unknown where he will continue his career.

Sayuw is a 24-years-old support player from Russia, who joined Team Empire last September. His team placed 7th in the Upper Division of the first season of Dota Pro Circuit, dropping to the Lower Division. There in the second season they placed 2nd, returning to the league's upper division. Later they participated in the qualifier for The International 10, where they managed to reach the grand finals, losing 2-3 to the future TI10 champions Team Spirit.

Following their failure to qualify for The International 10, Team Empire participated in several online events and this September the entirety of the roster was benched. Then the organization revealed that the roster would undergo significant changes ahead of the next season.

Team Empire:

  • Alexey "Smiling Knight" Sviridov (benched)
  • Gleb "depressed kid" Zyryanov (benched)
  • Ivan "VANSKOR" Skorokhod (benched)
  • Alexander "lightless" Potapenko (benched)
