The Fourth Minor of Dota Pro Circuit 2019/20 to be Held in Croatia

One Game Agency will organize the fourth minor Dota 2 event of the current season – Dota PIT Minor 2020 will be held in April in Split, Croatia.

The $300,000 tournament is scheduled for April 23rd – 26th and will be held at Spaladium Arena, which can seat up to 12,000 viewers. The event’s group stage will feature two GSL groups with best-of-three series, with top two teams from each group advancing to the double-elimination playoffs bracket. All regular playoffs matches will be best-of-three, while the grand final will be best-of-five. Besides the prize pool, the teams will compete for one ticket to EPICENTER Major and 660 qualification points.

The closest DPC event – ESL One Los Angeles 2020 – will take place on March 15th – 22nd, the teams will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 Pro Circuit points.

Earlier Valve announced that next season the minor events will be replaced by regional leagues, while the number of majors will be reduced from 5 to 3.
