Vici Gaming have announced on Twitter that they parted ways with two members of their main Dota 2 roster, offlaner Zhou "Yang" Haiyang and coach Bai "rOtK" Fan. Their contracts with the organization expired on September 1st. The organization has not revealed their replacements.
23-years-old Yang has spent his entire Dota 2 career with Vici Gaming, playing for different rosters of the organization. Meanwhile rOtK joined the organization in 2017 – he spent the first year with the VGJ.Thunder roster, and then transferred to the main team.
Vici Gaming managed to go through the entire season without a single roster change. In the season’s first part the team qualified to two major events – they placed 2nd at MDL Chengdu Major and 3rd at DreamLeague Season 13. Besides that, they emerged victorious at ONE Esports World Pro Invitational Singapore. However, in the season’s second part they showed mixed results – the team’s biggest accomplishments were the victory at OGA DOTA PIT 2020 and second places at BEYOND EPIC and OGA Dota PIT Season 2.
