Virtus.pro Main Dota 2 Roster Goes Inactive, Skipping ESL One Germany 2020

Virtus.pro have announced that their main Dota 2 roster goes inactive due to unsatisfactory results in the recent months. This means that the team will not participate in the upcoming ESL One Germany 2020, to which they had been invited to. The management will use this break to decide on the roster’s future.

The organization’s main line-up has been stable since this April, since Igor "iLTW" Filatov joined the team as a stand-in. Right after his addition the team managed to win ESL One Los Angeles 2020, however later the results went downhill. Last month VP officially signed Ivan "Artstyle" Antonov for the coach position. Earlier this month they placed 7-8th at OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division, a tournament co-organized by Epic Esports Events. Both Virtus.pro and EEE belong are part of ESFORCE Holding.

Earlier Virtus.pro announced that Ilya "Lil" Ilyuk and Danil "gpk" Skutin will play for their second roster VP.Prodigy at OGA Dota PIT Season 3: Europe/CIS. The second roster has been showing decent results, so it is not unthinkable that the organization might decide to promote VP.P to the main roster.

Inactive VP Main Roster:

  • Igor "iLTW" Filatov
  • Vladimir "No[o]ne" Minenko
  • Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok
  • Bakyt "Zayac" Emilzhanov
