Virtus.pro have announced that they will miss the first Dota 2 minor of the season DOTA Summit 11. The organization’s general manager Roman Dvoryankin explained that the team had problems with getting Visas and needed more time to “reach the full potential of the roster”. Instead, the team will focus on preparing for ESL One Hamburg 2019. Currently the organizers of the minor are trying to help Team Jfshfh187, who placed 3rd in the CIS qualifier, to secure Visas and participate in the event as a representative of the region.
Virtus.pro have recently significantly changed their Dota 2 roster by signing Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok, Egor "epileptick1d" Grigorenko and Vitalie "Save-" Melnic. The team placed 5-6th in the qualifiers for MDL Chengdu Major, and later emerged victorious in the qualifiers for DOTA Summit 11.
