The Ukrainian esports organizer WePlay is going to host an online Dota 2 competition WeSave! Charity Play. The company will provide $120,000 and allow viewers and sponsors to donate money. The collected funds will be given to specialized organizations to fight the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
The event is scheduled for March 20–26th and will be split into six regions. Overall, the tournament’s line-up will include 24 teams, of them 15 are already known: EHOME, Invictus Gaming, TNC Predator, Geek Fam, BOOM Esports, HellRaisers, Virtus.pro, Team Liquid, Team Secret, Team Nigma, No Ping Esports, Thunder Predator, beastcoast, business associates and FURIA Esports.
Earlier Valve announced the cancellation of EPICENTER Major and OGA Dota PIT Minor.
