A Spanish multigaming organization G2 Esports has opened their APEX Legends division by signing three Finnish players Sebastian “Mimu” Vesala, Aaro “rette” Hälli and Niko “ZeroNothing” Suominen. Earlier these players were invited to APEX Legends Preseason Invitational, a $500,000 event that will be held next weekend in Poland.
These three players have been playing together for the last five months, and managed to win multiple online events, including APEX.PRO Europe League – Season 4, Apex Finland – Suomiliiga, and APEX.PRO Europe League – Season 5, as well as placed second at X Games Minneapolis.
The team will participate Apex Legends Preseason Invitational, the first official event held by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. The tournament will be held on September 13-15th at Alvernia Studios in Krakow, Poland and will feature 80 teams competing for a $500,000 prize pool.
