The South Korean organization T1 has announced that Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok is now a part owner of the organization. Besides that, the player’s contract has been extended for three years. Once the player decides to retire from the competitive scene, he will transition to a leadership role within T1.

Faker is a 23-years-ols player who has spent his entire 7-years-carrier within T1. During this time, he became three-time world champion and won multiple premier events. Last season T1 emerged victorious at Rift Rivals 2019 and LCK Summer 2019, as well as placed 3rd-4th at 2019 World Championship.

Currently T1 is placed third in LCK Spring 2020 with the 3-1 score – they outplayed DAMWON Gaming, Gen.G and KT Rolster, as well as lost to Hanwha Life Esports.
