League of Legends to Receive a Mobile/Console Version

RIOT Games have announced that they are going to release League of Legends: Wild Rift, a version of their MOBA game designed for mobile devises and consoles. Besides that, the game’s mode Teamfight Tactics will also become available on smartphones and tablets.

League of Legends: Wild Rift is a separate game designed specifically for mobile devices and consoles. The game will feature a rebuilt 5v5 map, faster games and revamped controls. On launch, the game will have around 40 champions, which will stay true to their original design but may have some slight changes to their gameplay. The game will be free-to-play with ability to unlock all champions for free, however there will be paid cosmetics. The game will have a ranked mode. The pre-registration is already available on Google Play and soon will be open on App Store. As for the consoles, the developers will share more information next year.

Teamfight Tactics, the permanent League of Legends autobattler game mode, will also become available for Android and iOS devices. The pre-registration for Google Play is already open.
