SK Telecom T1 Loses At Least Two Players

The South Korean esports organization SK Telecom T1 announced that contracts of its two players – Han "Peanut" Wang-ho and Kim "Sky" Ha-neul – have expired and won’t be extended.

Han "Peanut" Wang-ho joined SK Telecom T1 on December 2016 as jungler. Since then the team placed first at 2017 LCK Spring Playoffs and came second at 2017 LCK Summer Playoffs and 2017 World Championship. Kim "Sky" Ha-neul used to be a sub mid laner.

Peanut made a statement on his twitter-account:

”I have decided to enter free agency as of today, November 21st. I am extremely grateful for all the support from the fans I received and feel very blessed. My experience with SKT this past year has been a privilege to say at least. I want to thank the SKT front office, our head coach cCarter, coach kkoma, coach RapidStar, our managers and all of my teammates for the valuable memories. I will see you guys soon in a new uniform. Thank you!”

According to the official SK Telecom T1 twitter-account, the information regarding the contracts of the other players will be announced as soon as possible. As of now, officially the organization has only one player with active contract – sub top laner Ui "Untara" Jin-Park.

SK Telecom T1 placed second at League of Legends World Championship 2017 by losing 0-3 to Samsung Galaxy.
