An Ukrainian esports club Natus Vincere has opened a Fortnite division by signing two Swedish players – Viggo "Bowman" Hahnsson and Daniel "AlphaAmons" Johansson – who used to play for the North American organization Wildcard Gaming.
The Swedes had been playing together for Wildcard Gaming since June 2018, during this period they placed 3rd at DreamHack Summer 2018, as well as participated in multiple events of the official Skirmish series.
Yevhen Zolotarov, CEO of Natus Vincere, stated that they had been considering entering the Fortnite scene for a while. The organization decided to sign these two players as they “are coming into esports from the world of traditional sports […] and strive to give it all to reach the goal”. Natus Vincere follow the trend of opening Fortnite rosters after Epic Games announced that they were going to provide $100,000,000 to fund the first competitive Fortnite season.
