Tomorrow in Stockholm, Sweden begins GLL Grand Slam: PUBG Classic, the second global PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds event of the current season. The event will feature sixteen best teams from the western region competing for a $300,000+ prize pool.
The tournament will be held from July 19th to July 21st at Stockholmsmässan. The base prize pool is set at $300,000. Besides that, the teams will receive 25% of the unique in-game item sales. Moreover, the best performing region will receive an additional region slot for PUBG Global Championship 2019.
Among attendants are five teams from both Europe (FaZe Clan, Natus Vincere, Team Liquid, G2 Esports, Pittsburgh Knights) and North America (Tempo Storm, Cloud9, Ghost Gaming, The Rumblers, Spacestation Gaming), as well as three teams from each Latin America (RED Canids, Team Singularity, Bitloft) and Oceania (Athletico, Incognito, Hell Yeah Brother). These teams will compete in 18 rounds, getting 1 point for a kill and 10 points for 1st place, 6 points for 2nd place and 5 points for 3rd place. Each day will feature 6 rounds, the first one starts at 03:00 PM BST, the last one begins at 7:35 PM BST. The games will be broadcasted on the GLL Twitch Channel.
