PUBG Global Championship 2021 Will Feature Teams Playing both on LAN and Online

PUBG Studios have announced that PUBG Global Championship 2021 will be a hybrid event, with some teams playing on LAN and others competing online. The tournament will begin on November 19th and run for five weeks, ending on December 19th.

PGS 2021’s line-up will consist of 32 teams: 12 from Asia, 8 from Europe, 6 from both Asia-Pacific and the Americas. The tournament will be played in Incheon, South Korea – teams from outside of the region will flight there, while local teams will be able to compete remotely. The final list of participants will be known after the conclusion of the fifth week of PUBG Continental Series, which will end on October 3rd.

The base prize pool of PGS 2021 is set at $2,000,000. It will be extended through the sales of in-game items, contributing 30% directly to the pool. Learn more about the event on the official website.
