Febby and kpii to Play for Mineski

Post-TI8 reshuffle is in full swing and Mineski could not remain uninvolved. Just a week ago the team said goodbye to three players: Daryl Koh "iceiceice" Pei Xiang, Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong and Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross Jr. Recently it has been announced that the team filled its roster with Damien "kpii" Chok, Kim "Febby" Yong-min and Thiay "JT-" Jun Wen.

For the last two years kpii has been part of Newbee, with them the Australian player placed second at The International 2017, won quite a few premier LAN-events, including Nanyang Dota 2 Championships S2, DPL Season 2 Top, Perfect World Masters and ESL One Genting 2018, as well as placed 13-16th at The International 2018.

Febby is a 25-years-old player from South Korea, mainly known for his role in MVP Phoenix in 2015 ¬– 2017. His most recent team was Immortals. The team has had a rough season and failed to qualify for TI8. JT- is a 20-years-old player from Malaysia who is new to the pro scene – he appeared on the professional scene in 2017 with a mix called Genesis Pro Gaming, later he played for a Malaysian team Geek Fam.

The former Mineski roster showed a decent performance throughout the season – they managed to win PGL Open Bucharest and Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, as well as visited most major or minor events, finishing the season at the fifth place of the DPC rankings. At The International 2018 Mineski qualified from the group stage to the lower bracket, but already in the second round lost to Virtus.pro and placed 9-12th.
