Gambit Esports Main CS:GO Roster Goes Inactive

The Russian organization Gambit Esports has ceased the activity of their main Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster due to inability to form a stable and competitive roster. At the upcoming events, including qualifiers for CIS Minor Championship Berlin 2019, the organization will be represented by its second roster Gambit Youngsters.

The organization’s management explained that their goal was to form a stable and competitive roster that would consist of Russian-speaking players. Due to a smaller number of players that fit these criteria the organization failed to complete their roster and currently aims to have a strong roster by the end of the year. In the meantime the organization is open for transfer offers.

This year has been far from successful for the Russian team – once PGL Major Krakow champions, the team failed to attend a single LAN-event in the past six months.
