Hobbit Leaves Gambit Esports to Join HellRaisers

It has been revealed that a 24-years-old Kazakh player Abay "Hobbit" Khasenov was transferred from Gambit Esports to HellRaisers"bondik" Nеchуроrchuk, who has become a free agent.

Hobbit has been playing for Gambit Esports since late 2016. With them he became a major champion as the team emerged victorious at PGL Major Krakow 2017. They also placed first at multiple LAN-events, including ACER Predator Masters Season 3, WESG 2016 Asia Pacific Finals, DreamHack Open Winter 2016, DreamHack Open Austin 2017, and ROG Masters 2017. To replace Hobbit, Gambit Esports signed an ex-AVANGAR player Dmitry "dimasick" Matvienko, who will be the new in-game leader of the team.

In the HellRaisers roster Hobbit will replace Bondik, whose contract with the organization was terminated. The Ukrainian player joined the organization in 2016. With them he placed first at Bets.net Masters: Season 1 as well as qualified for FACEIT Major: London 2018, where the team finished 5-8th and secured the Legend status.
