Mushi Has Left Mineski
The Malaysian Dota 2 player Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung has announced his departure from Mineski on his Facebook fan page.
According to the statement, Mushi has become a free agent. The organization hasn’t commented on the player’s departure yet and is left with only four players in their Dota 2 roster.
Mushi is a 27-years-old player from Malaysia. He has been part of Mineski since March 2017. In the previous season the team managed to win PGL Open Bucharest and Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, as well as place 3-4th at StarLadder i-League Invitational Season 4 and 5-6th at EPICENTER XL, MDL Changsha Major and ESL One Birmingham 2018. As a result, the team finished the 2017 – 2018 Dota Pro Circuit at the 5th place with 3150 qualification points, receiving a direct invite to The International 2018. At TI8 the team placed 7th in Group A, advancing to the lower bracket, where they lost in the second round to Virtus.pro and placed 9-12th at the event. This season the team significantly changed their roster. The team failed all qualifiers for DPC events, placed first at Red Bull Guardians and was invited to ESL One Hamburg 2018, where placed last in the group A with the map score of 2-8, finishing 11-12th at the event.
