Astralis: Gla1ve Is Ready to Make a Comeback
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander has announced on his Twitter account that he is looking forward to coming back to the professional scene. However, the comeback will be gradual – the player will not play at the upcoming ESL One Cologne 2020 and instead will try to help the team in other ways.
Gla1ve, a longstanding in-game leader of Astralis, has been on a medical leave due to stress and mental burnout since May. During this team the team was competing with Jakob "JUGi" Hansen, who due to poor results recently was replaced with a former MAD Lions player Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen.
As Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth is also still on a medical leave, Astralis will compete at ESL One Cologne 2020 (August 18th – 30th) with two newer players – Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen, and three longstanding members of the team, including Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz, Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, and Emil "Magisk" Reif, who is currently fulfilling the captain role.
