Dota 2 Update: Collector’s Cache and Vulkan Support for Mac OS

Valve released a new update for Dota 2, in which they added a new purchasable treasure with 17 new item sets called The International 2018 Collector’s Cache as well as introduced a beta support of Vulkan API for Mac OS.

The International 2018 Collector’s Cache
  • Costs $1.99 and is available for Battle Pass owners only
  • Includes 14 common sets (for Bloodseeker, Pangolier, Dark Seer, Spirit Breaker, Undying, Wraith King, Necrophos, Techies, Venomancer, Witch Doctor, Queen of Pain, Invoker, Weaver, and Phantom Assasin), as well as a rare set for Warlock, a very rare set for Shadow Shaman, and an ultra rare set for Gyrocopter
  • The treasure is available until The International concludes
  • You get 27 Battle Levels for unboxing fourteen of the treasures
  • The items received from the treasure are exclusive and cannot be purchased elsewhere. Each common set can be gifted once, while the ultra rare set is marketable
  • Each purchase contributes to The International 2018 prize pool
Vulkan Support for Mac OS

Added Beta support for Vulkan on macOS (requires installing Vulkan DLC). Vulkan for macOS DLC provides improved performance and reduced stutters on macOS 10.13+ with a Metal-capable GPU. Vulkan support on macOS still in beta.
