The North American esports organization 100 Thieves has re-entered the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene by acquiring the mostly Australian roster of Renegades.
The roster consists of Aaron "AZR" Ward, Justin "jks" Savage, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad, Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas, Sean "Gratisfaction" Kaiwai, and is coached by Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović. These players have been playing together for the entire duration of the previous season and managed to get the Legends status twice – at IEM XIII – Katowice Major 2019, where they placed 5-8th, and at StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, where they secured a 3rd-4th finish. Currently the team is ranked 7th in the world rating.
100 Thieves was created in 2017 by Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag, a former Call of Duty professional player. The same year the organization signed a Brazilian squad, which was disbanded due to various controversies without having participated in a single event. Currently the club is also represented in League of Legends and Fortnite.
