Tonight Valve released an update for Dota 2, which adds a new PvE event Aghanim’s Labyryinth. While the game mode is available to everyone for free, the owners of The International 10 Battle Pass will be able to unlock up to 2,000 Battle Points per week.
In the rogue-like mode four players will fight AI-controlled enemies, with Aghanim himself being the main boss. After the completion of each room, players will be able to choose their future enemies and skill upgrades. There are four difficulty levels, which are unlocked through victories. Besides that, throughout each run players will be able to gather Arcane Fragments which can be used to unlock permanent upgrades.
On top of that, all players will be able to participate in weekly Aghanim’s Trials, where players from all over the world will compete in the same randomly generated labyrinth. The fastest players will claim unique tradable rewards, among which is a new type of Baby Roshan courier. The first competition is scheduled for July 21st.
