Team Liquid Parts Ways with its Dota 2 Team

Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi and the rest of Team Liquid’s Dota 2 roster have departed the organization to form their own club. The European organization is going to remain in the Dota 2 scene and is looking for players or a team to sign.

Team Liquid picked up this roster in 2015, which since then has undergone multiple roster changes. In early 2017 the team acquired Maroun "GH" Merhej, and for the following 2.5 years the team managed to go without changing a single player – during this time they emerged victorious at The International 2017 and placed 4th at The International 2018. This summer the team parted ways with Lasse Aukusti "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen, who was replaced by Aliwi "w33" Omar. Last month the team placed second at The International 2019, losing 1-3 to OG in the grand finals.
