Virtus.pro Withdrew from OGA Dota Pit 2020 Season 2, Replaced by VP.P

Virtus.pro have announced that their main Dota 2 roster will not participate in OGA Dota PIT 2020 Season 2: Europe/CIS. Instead, the organization will be represented at the event by their second roster VP.Prodigy.

VP.P was formed in April, including two former members of the main roster – Egor "epileptick1d" Grigorenko and Vitalie "Save-" Melnic. The team quickly managed to find their playstyle, allowing them to win several online events, including Gaming World, GGBET StayHome Challenge and Epic Prime League Season 1. In the grand finals of the latter one they even outplayed VP’s main roster. Besides that, the team placed 2nd at WePlay! Pushka League Season 1 Division 1 and finished 3rd at ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online Europe/CIS.

OGA Dota PIT Season 2: Europe/CIS is scheduled for July 27th – 30th and will feature eight teams competing for a $170,000 prize pool. Besides VP.P, the tournament’s line-up includes Natus Vincere, Alliance, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, Vikin.gg, Team Nigma, and FlyToMoon. They will play in a double-elimination bracket with best-of-three regular series and best-of-five grand finals.
