The Ukrainian tournament organizer WePlay! has shared the detailed information on the second season of their Dota 2 league Pushka League. The event will be played this August in three regions – Europe (including CIS), North & South America, and Asia (China with Southeast Asia).
The European and American divisions will be played between August 13th – September 13th, while the dates for the Asian league will be announced later. In the European region there will be three divisions, while the other regions will have only two.
The first European division will feature sixteen teams competing in two round-robin groups. Best eight teams will advance to the Super Finals stage, where they will compete for $210,000 in a double-elimination bracket.
In both the American and Asian regions, Division 1 will start with twelve teams competing in two groups. Later top eight teams will advance to the Super Finals stage with a double-elimination bracket. There the American teams will fight for a $40,000 prize pool, while the Asian teams will compete for $60,000.
The first season of WePlay! Pushka League was held on April 23rd – May 12th, and was played only in the European region. The following teams secured their places in the first division of the next season: Secret, VP.Prodigy, Liquid, Virtus.pro, NiP, Alliance, HellRaisers, Na`Vi, OG, FlyToMoon, Nigma, Spirit, OG Seed, B8.
