Hunterace Is the New World Hearthstone Champion

The Norwegian player Casper "Hunterace" Notto placed first at Hearthstone World Championship 2019, securing $250,000 in prize money. In the grand finals of the world championship he outplayed the German player Torben "Viper" Wahl with the 3-2 score.

Hunterrace advanced to playoffs from the second place in Group C. In the playoffs bracket he defeated bloodyface (3-1), Jing (3-1) and Viper (3-2).

Hearthstone World Championship 2019 was held on April 25th – 28th in Taipei City, Taiwan, where sixteen participants competed for a $1,000,000 prize pool. This event marked the end of the old competitive season, with the next season featuring a new three-level system.
