The playoffs stage will be held on December 8th – 9th, with all regular matches being best-of-three and the grand finals being best-of-five.
According to GG.Bet’s odds, Team Secret has the highest chance to claim the championship title. This should come as no surprise, as the European team recently emerged victorious at PVP Esports Championship and ESL One Hamburg 2018, as well as placed second at The Kuala Lumpur Major and qualified for The Chongqing Major. The second favourite of the event is Virtus.pro, the current leader of Dota Pro Circuit ranking and the team that already secured their spot at The International 2019. This season “the bears” placed first at Maincast Autumn Brawl and at the major in Kuala Lumpur, as well as got bronze medal at ESL One Hamburg. The third most favourite winner of the event is Team Liquid. This season the TI7 showed mixed results, as the team failed to qualify for the first major, then withdrew from the minor, as well as parted ways with their coach Lee "Heen" Seung Gon. However recently they placed second at the European qualifiers for the major event DreamLeague Season 10. Taking into account their previous accomplishments it is safe to assume that Team Liquid stand a good chance to win the event.
The event is organized by Epic Esports Events, who are mainly known for the EPICENTER series. The official steam can be found here.
