Não Tem Como Finalizes ESL One Belo Horizonte Line-up
The last regional qualifier for ESL One: Belo Horizonte 2018 has concluded in South America, finalizing the line-up for the upcoming $200,000 event. In the grand finals of the SA Qualifier Não Tem Como defeated Furia eSports 3-2, securing their spot at the LAN-finals.
Não Tem Como, which consists of fnx, bit, felps, kNgV- and chelo, were invited to the closed qualifiers. It featured a double-elimination bracket for 8 teams, with only one of them advancing to the main event of ESL One: Belo Horizonte 2018. NTC started their run by defeated YeaH! Gaming (2-1), but then lost 0-2 to Furia eSports and dropped to the lower bracket, where managed to defeat Sharks Esports (2-0), YeaH! Gaming (2-0), and Isurus Gaming (2-1). In the grand finals the kNgV-’s team managed to avenge their loss in semifinals, outplaying their opponents 3-2.
At the main event they will compete with 4 invited teams (FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, mousesports, SK Gaming), two teams from European qualifiers (Space Soldiers, BIG), and one team from North America region (Torqued). First the teams will be divided into two GSL groups, then two top teams from each group will advance to the single-elimination playoffs bracket. The main event will be held on June 13-17 at Mineirinho Arena in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Prize pool is set at $200,000. The tournament is part of Intel Grand Slam series.
