PSG.LGD Wins Chinese Qualifier for Kuala Lumpur Major

The Chinese qualifier for Kuala Lumpur Major has concluded with PGS.LGD defeating Vici Gaming in the grand finals with the score of 2-1.

The qualifier was held on September 16-18 and featured eight teams competing for three tickets to Kuala Lumpur Major. First, they competed in two groups of four with double-elimination format and best-of-three series. Then top two teams from each group advanced to the upper bracket, while the other teams advanced to the lower bracket. The playoffs stage was held in a double-elimination format with best-of-three series. The teams placed first, second and third qualified for the major.

Kuala Lumpur Major is the first Dota 2 major tournament of this season. It will take place on November 9-18 at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Sixteen teams will compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool.
