PUBG Update: New Automatic Rifle and a Sanhok Exclusive Vehicle
PUBG Corp. has released a new update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, which introduced a new assault rifle Beryl M762, a new Sanhok-exclusive vehicle Scooter, as well as multiple other gameplay improvements and bug fixes. Below you will find the main features of the new update, which is currently available only on Test Server.
New Weapon – Beryl M762
Beryl M762 is a new assault rifle available on all three maps. It uses 7.62 mm ammo; its standard ammo capacity is at 30 rounds, which can be extended to 40 rounds. It supports scopes and grips attachments. Compared to AKM, M762 has lower damage per bullet but higher firing rate.
New Vehicle – Scooter
Scooter is a two-seated vehicle added to Sanhok to replace motorbikes. Compared to the usual motorbikes, Scooter has lower speed and an increased turning cycle, but the same health pool.
The developers also talked about Tukshai, a Sanhok exclusive three-wheeled vehicle which was planned to be released alongside the map itself. Due to technical difficulties, the release of the vehicle has been moved to September.
The developers added a new option to settings: “TPP Aim Camera Position”, which allows you to change the positioning of the camera while playing using third-person perspective. There are four options available:
- Reset to Right Shoulder (default setting) – Camera will always be positioned above the character’s right shoulder
- Reset to Left Shoulder – Camera will always be positioned above the character’s left shoulder
- Latest Peek Shoulder – Camera position automatically moves to the direction you last leaned
- Latest Aim Shoulder – Camera remains in the last ADS direction. In this setting, the camera position won’t be changed by leaning while not in ADS or scoping
The other changes can be found in the official changelog.
