Resolut1on out of OG

Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok announced on Twitter that he is no longer a part of OG. The Ukrainian player joined the team in the transfer period after The International 2017.

Resolut1ion commented on the situation:

“I’m very happy that I was a part of OG. Guys, Tal, Jesse, Gustav, Seb, Johan, Evany, thanks for the priceless experience and knowledge that I got during that time. I’m hoping that this decision will benefit all of us.”

Since the change was made after the transfer lock, OG lost all their Dota Pro Circuit points and won’t be eligible to be invited either to The International 2018 or its regional qualifiers, meaning that the team will have to make it through the open qualifiers. According to their statement, at the moment they still don’t have a replacement for Resolut1ion and will participate in the upcoming DreamLeague Season 9 with the team’s coach Sébastien "7ckngMad" Debs filling in.

Resolut1on joined OG on September 2017. The team was one of the strongest in the European region, qualifying almost for every DPC event. Nonetheless, the team struggled to perform well on LAN-finals with the exception of MDL Macau, where they managed to place first.
