APEX Legends: Season 4 Is Live with a New Hero Revenant
Respawn Entertainment have launched the fourth season in their Battle Royale title APEX Legends. The update introduces a new legend called Revenant, significant changes to the World’s Edge map, as well as adds a new weapon Sentinel. Besides that, the update includes a new Battle Pass. The main changes are listed below:
- New legend Revenant with the following abilities:
- Silence: Throw a device that deals damage and disables enemy abilities for 10 seconds.
- Stalker: You crouch-walk faster and can climb higher than other Legends.
- Death Totem: Drop a totem that protects those who use it from death for a set amount of time. Instead of being killed or downed, users will return to the totem.
- New Battle Pass with over 100 exclusive rewards
- New Ranked Season divided into two six-week splits
- New weapon Sentinel – a bolt-action sniper rifle powerful at middle and high distances
- Map changes to World’s Edge, including new locations such as The Planet Harvester and changes for the old ones, such as the split of Capitol City in two districts
- Loot Changes, including:
- A new ammo type for all sniper rifles
- L-STAR is no longer a crate weapon and uses energy ammo
- Devotion is now a crate weapon, equipped with Turbocharger
- G7 Scout is now an assault rifle and only accepts AR optics and attachments
- Weapon Balance Changes
- Various Quality of Life improvements and Bug Fixes
