This weekend Mumbai, India hosted a Dota 2 tournament as part of DreamHack Mumbai Invitational 2018. In the grand finals Mineski defeated Neon Esports with the 2-1 score, securing $21,000 in prize money.
The event took place on December 21-23 and featured two invited teams and two winners of regional qualifiers competing in a double-elimination bracket with upper bracket matches being best-of-three and lower bracket matches being best-of-one. On their way to the grand finals Neon Esports defeated Mineski (2:1) and Signify (2:0) in the upper bracket, while Mineski after dropping to the lower bracket managed to outplay LXG Esports and Signify. The final series concluded with the 2-1 score in favour of Mineski.
