Rogue Defeats Zest in the IEM Katowice 2020 Finals
The StarCraft II part of Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2020 saw a South Korean grand finale, where Lee "Rogue" Byeong Yeol outplayed Joo "Zest" Sung Wook to claim $150,800 in prize money and qualify for ESL Pro Tour Global Finals. The runner-up received $65,800 in prize money.
Rogue made it to the playoffs through Group B, where he placed first with the 9-2 score. In the playoffs he outplayed Dark (3-0) and Maru (3-2). Despite losing to him earlier in the group, in the final series Rogue defeated Zest with the confident 4-1 score.

The tournament was held on February 24th – March 1st in Katowice, Poland. The tournament’s prize pool was set at $400,000. As the event is part of ESL Pro Tour, the players also received qualification points for future events of the series.
