BIG: Smooya Benched, Nex Returned After a Break

The German esports organization BIG has announced changes for their CS:GO roster: Owen "smooya" Butterfield has been removed from the main roster, while Johannes "nex" Maget has returned to the roster after a two-month break.

According to the official statement, Smooya will be allowed to negotiate with other organizations while being benched. The British player joined the team in the first half of 2018, with them he attended multiple premier LAN-events, including FACEIT Major: London 2018, where they placed 5-8th and secured the Legends status. Lately the team placed 3rd at cs_summit 3, SuperNova Malta 2018 and ELEAGUE CS:GO Invitational.

Nex went inactive a month ago due to health problems, namely wrist pains. The team’s management announced that the player has received required medical attention and now is fully capable to compete again. This December the team also signed İsmailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş, which means that the team’s main roster is completed.
